DESIGN: CREATION OF ARTEFACTS IN SOCIETY

WORKHOME

During the summer of 2020, I completed a 4 week online course at the University of Pennsylvania. Using new design theories and practices, I created a soundproof, modular workpod to fit in most urban gardens. The concept aimed to help those working at home during the pandemic with limited space or inadequate working conditions.

The WORKHOME is easy to construct; the structure arrives as 93 solid wooden panels, 40 window panels,1 door and 2 roof panels all with holes and screws. Insulation for warmth or sound can be added into the hollow interior of the panels.
